ZSUBEB Chair Praises Maradun LG Administrator for Appointing 50 Teachers

Executive Chairman of the Zamfara State Universal Basic Education Board (ZSUBEB), Professor Nasir Garba Anka, has praised Hon. Yahaya Giwa Maradun, the Sole Administrator of Maradun Local Government Council, for employing 50 locals as teachers in primary schools in the area.

Prof. Anka lauded the initiative during the presentation of appointment letters to the new teachers, highlighting its alignment with the state government’s commitment to enhancing education across all 14 local government areas.

In a statement signed and issued to news men in Gusau, a copy of which was made available to The Spectacles on Thursday. Sai the Chairman urged other local government administrators to follow Maradun’s lead and pledged support to the newly recruited teachers.

Additionally, Hon. Yahaya Maradun emphasized the importance of education, vowing to continue supporting educational initiatives in the region. He announced a monthly remuneration of N20,000 for each teacher and called for ZSUBEB’s assistance in ensuring their effectiveness.

Accompanying Prof. Anka were Hon. Rufa’i Muhammad Jibiril, a Permanent Member of ZSUBEB, Alhaji Garba Abdullahi, Director of School Services, Nasiru Muhammad Anka, Director of Special Programs, and staff officers of the board.
