Zamfara APC Crisis: Ward Excos Reject Suspension of Sani Jaji

As the crisis within Zamfara State’s All Progressive Congress (APC) intensifies, 23 out of 27 ward executive members from Birnin Magaji Local Government Area have rejected the suspension of House of Representatives member Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji, labeling the decision as illegal.

The executives highlighted Sani Jaji’s significant contributions to the development of the APC in both Zamfara and Nigeria. They accused certain individuals of attempting to tarnish his legacy as a key figure in the party’s growth.

Addressing the press on Friday night, several executives, including Assistant Secretary Kabiru Magaji, Vice-Chairman Yusuf Basko, PRO 2 Salisu Haido, and others, asserted that Birnin Magaji ward has disassociated itself from the illegal suspension of Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji from the APC.

They also noted that four members who allegedly signed the suspension letter had already been suspended by the ward executives and called on these individuals to immediately withdraw their signatures.

The executives urged APC members in the ward and across Zamfara State to remain law-abiding, pledging to do everything possible to ensure the suspension does not stand.

“The entire APC membership in Birnin Magaji opposes the illegal suspension of Representative Aminu Sani Jaji from the APC,” they declared.
