Mai Palace Commendable Strides In The Education Sector

In a bid to ensure that pupils in his constituency study in a conducive environment, the member representing Gusau/Tsafe federal constituency in his usual style of rendering transparent and accountable stewardship, Hon Kabiru Amadu Maipace embarked on the support of the construction block of six (6) classrooms with office, toilet, and furniture at Government Girls Day Secondary School (GGDSS) Tsafe.

The essence of this project is to create a platform where pupils can learn in a conducive environment and develop knowledge that will enhance their education pursuit. This classroom edifice will enhance the pupils to concentrate fully in their study and everything we are seeing in the pictures was done within two days and it shows a lot of determination.

The lawmaker were previously enrolled over 1,000 orphans and children from less privileged homes, who were out of school because of the poverty level of their parents, he enrolled them into various public primary schools within Gusau and Tsafe local government areas, and provided each pupil with school uniform and writing materials inorder to uplift standard of education in his constituency and the state so as to complement the effort of the state government.

It was glaring that the Bello Matawalle led administration had done a lot in salvaging education from collapse by promoting of about 7,000 primary school teachers who have 5 to 10 years unsettled backlogs of promotion and also reinstated 556 teachers who were employed but dumped by the previous Yari’s administration.

Governor Matawalle, in his foresight and political will to transform the education sector, sponsored 200 students to study in four foreign countries as well as constructing and renovating many classrooms across the 14 local government areas.

We therefore, called on the other stakeholders in the state to also invest in the education for the betterment and upliftment of their children and grandchildren as well great grandchildren yet unborn, because, investments in the educational sector is a lifelong investments that can potentially impact the lives of the people in the long term.

I finally commend and appreciate Hon Kabiru Amadu Mai Palace for his rendering a public account of his stewardship, he earned our trust long ago. I dared pronounced, we are indeed lucky to be represented by a trustworthy and truthful servant of the masses.
