Governor Oyebanji Approves ₦138m in Car and Housing Loans for Teachers

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has authorized the disbursement of ₦138.7 million for car and housing loans benefiting 448 teaching and non-teaching staff of the State Teaching Service Commission.

The approval was announced in a statement by the Permanent Secretary of the Ekiti State Teaching Service Commission, Mike Omolayo, shared with reporters in Ado Ekiti.

Omolayo outlined the application process, noting that eligible recipients must provide necessary documentation including letters of introduction from their principals and bursars, official ID cards, and copies of relevant employment documents.

Emphasizing the government’s commitment to enhancing the performance of staff in public secondary schools, Omolayo highlighted that repayment for the loans will commence from the June 2024 salary.
