North-Central APC Supports Ganduje’s Suspension, Pushes to Reclaim Seat

Amidst mounting tensions within the All Progressives Congress, stakeholders from the North Central region have thrown their weight behind the suspension of the party’s National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje.

They are advocating for the restoration of the seat previously held by Abdullahi Adamu, asserting that Ganduje’s appointment disregarded the party’s zoning principles. The latest development follows a fresh suspension imposed on Ganduje by a faction within his own ward in Kano State.

Despite legal maneuvers by Ganduje’s camp, the North Central APC stakeholders remain resolute in their stance. They argue that restoring the seat to their region would uphold the party’s integrity and constitutional principles.

This move has garnered support from various quarters, including APC members from Adamawa State, who emphasize the importance of adhering to zoning agreements.

However, Ganduje’s camp dismisses these calls, attributing them to individuals seeking to sow discord within the party. They contend that Ganduje’s rights must be respected and urge for adherence to the court’s directive maintaining the status quo.
